Women's March on Washington D.C

On Saturday January 21st I went down to D.C with my Aunt and Daughter to participate in the Women's March on Washington.

It was my first protest in D.C since the Iraq War protest in 2003.  I wasn't sure what to expect but was very surprised.  It was the most peaceful protest I have ever attended.  It was crowded, crazy amounts of people.

My daughter was a trooper.  I wasn't planning on having her come, but my husband asked her if she wanted to go and she said that she did.

Current Fitness Routine

I started out 2017 by signing up for Gilad's 60-Day Ultimate U Challenge.  I have signed up for challenges in the past, but never followed through with them.  In fact, the only fitness "challenge" that I have fully completed would be Beachbody's 21-Day Fix that I completed last month.  I was thinking about doing another Beachbody program but I decided to go a little old school.  My mom owned a few of Gilad's workouts growing up, and I remember doing them and loving it.  Gilad is a great trainer and motivates me to complete each workout.  The workouts are challenging and I can complete most moves without modification.

I am 20 days into the challenge and am feeling really good.  I downloaded the workouts from Platform Purple and I can stream them onto my Roku tv.  They range anywhere from 40-60 minutes.  There is a lot of focus on strengthening the core, which is great for me because that it my weakest area.
